Battery bank
How much battery does your rig need?
Check what runs every day, pick how long you want to stay unplugged, and the bank sizes itself. Same load table and math as the original Megawatt calculator.

How the math works
Each checked load has a daily watt-hour figure from the original Megawatt table. Add them up and multiply by the days you plan to stay off the plug.
Solar gets credit next. Every roof watt counts for 4 sun hours at 75% efficiency, so 400 W of panels takes 1,200 Wh a day off the total.
The bank never drops below one and a half days of your load, and never below 1,280 Wh, the smallest Vatrer in the lineup. Whatever is larger wins.
Voltage follows peak draw. Up to 3,000 W stays at 12 V. Up to 5,000 W moves to 24 V. Anything above that goes to 48 V, where the current and cable get manageable again.
What it can't see
Your real loads. If you have a battery monitor, a week of its numbers beats any table. Cold weather also cuts what lithium will accept, so plan on less charging in winter.
