Run fresh water through every faucet and fixture until potable antifreeze is purged.

Discard at least the first two trays of ice so antifreeze is not in the ice.

Open cabinet doors and inspect fittings for leaks.

Operate 12-volt lights and accessories. A dead circuit may be a breaker or fuse.

Install fresh batteries in battery-operated detectors and test CO and smoke detectors.

Inspect the shore cord, inverter, outlets, and exposed 120-volt wiring.

Prepare and start the generator using the generator OEM manual, not a guess.
